Les Alsace Grand Cru et les Cuvée Spéciales
Gewurztraminer Pfersigberg Late Harvest 2005
Eye : The colour is gold, on the glass the legs are wide, which indicater its richness.
Nose : The nose is marked by notes of candied strawberry, broom, thyme, heather and a fiery aroma.
Palate : This late harvest wine is not based on roundness but on a generous and fat structure thanks to its concentrated rawmaterials, its long fermentation and barrel-aging on fine lees. The palate is dominated for hazelnut butter aromas. The finish is spicy with notes of green pepper.
Conclusion : This late harvest wine is amazing because it can be served with gastronomic dishes, such as fois gras, strong cheese like Munster, goat’s milk cheesevand mature Comté.
