Les Alsace Grand Cru et les Cuvée Spéciales
Pinot Gris Rangen de Thann 2005 Hospices de Strasbourg
Eye : This wine is yellow with old gold tints.
Nose :The nose is expressive, compplex and mature with a mushroom aromma. A light aeration expresser notes of angelica, candied fruit, pine bree honey, crushed peas and balsamic notes.
Palate : The attack is suppler and round. Notes of apricot and ripe fruit (fig, raspberry and mirabelle plum) reveal a wine with great potential. The finish has a nice acidity and notes of maple sirup.
Conclusion : A late harvest style wine wich can be consumed without delay or can be kept to mature in the cellar.
