Riesling Rangen 2007

Eye

This wine is a deep, golden yellow. You will be surprised by its long legs running down the side of the glass, a sign of how fat the wine is.

Nose

This Riesling's nose is surprising, with aromas of hazelnut butter and heather.

Palate

As you drink this wine, you will be surprised by the similarity between its nose and palate, with corresponding aromas and flavours. The palate is structured with a nice tartaric acidity, a sign of the full maturity of the vines from which this Riesling was made. The finish is long and fat.
Can accompany fish served with a sauce, such as salmon or scorpion fish (rascasse). A great accompaniment also for goose foie gras.

Conclusion

This Riesling is unusual and marked by its fat structure and straight acidity.
