The vineyard

Our estate is located in the heart of Eguisheim, 5 km south of Colmar. Eguisheim is a medieval village, elected « one of the most beautiful villages in France » in 2005 and « one of the most beautiful villages in Europe » in 2006. The estate looks out onto « Place de l’Eglise » and the church bell tower dating back to 1220.

Our courtyard is surrounded by 15th and 16th century buildings.

Our vineyards spread over 6 hectares, including 6 200 m2 of Grand-Cru Pfersigberg in Eguisheim, planted solely with Gewürztraminer, and 1.15 hectares of Grand-Cru Rangen in Thann, planted with Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer. Facing due south, Rangen presents a 45° slope, and owes its reputation to its unique “terroir” made up of volcanic soil. Our other vineyards are located around the estate.

We apply la culture reasoned farming in our vineyards, i.e. we avoid any chemical intervention as much as possible. Thus, grass is left to grow naturally between the rows of our vines.

Our vinification process is carried out with great care…with a view to offering expressive wines, delighting the most demanding palates.

The estate is certified HVE (high environmental value)
